1. Who We Are

DubaiFact is a property intelligence platform operating at dubaifact.com. We provide data-driven analysis of Dubai's residential property market, drawing on official transaction and rental data published by Dubai Land Department (DLD) and the Ejari registry. 2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver the service:

• Account data — your email address and name when you register for an account.
• Usage data — pages you visit, search queries you run, and property profiles you view. We use this to personalise your experience (e.g. recently viewed properties) and to improve the platform.
• Session data — authentication tokens stored in cookies to keep you logged in. These are session-scoped and expire when your session ends or you log out.

We do not collect payment card details, government ID numbers, or any sensitive personal data as defined by UAE PDPL.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and provide you access to the platform.
• To personalise your experience — saving recent searches and viewed properties in your dashboard.
• To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
• To communicate important changes to the service or this policy via the email address on your account.

We do not sell, rent, or broker your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. UAE Personal Data Protection Law

We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Under this law, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.
• Portability — request that we provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain processing activities, including direct marketing.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored on secure servers. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies

7. Children

DubaiFact is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
